Windemere Park's Memory Care unit is designed for residents who need a helping hand due to a primary diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or dementia-related behaviors.  Our Memory Care unit provides an innovative, compassionate and caring environment that reduces anxiety and confusion through a calm, relaxing atmosphere.      

A Registered Nurse, trained in dementia  and Alzheimer care, oversees personalized care and assistance.  Our peaceful, homelike setting allows residents to feel relaxed and secure.   With supervision, residents maximize their own level of independence.

The goal of our Memory Care is to create an unrestrictive environment for residents.  We offer residents increased structure throughout the day and increased time to complete obtainable tasks, such as dressing, bathing, eating and recreation with the assistance of our devoted staff. 

Research has shown that sensory stimulation and reminiscent activities help maintain cognitive skills and make life more enjoyable.  Our caring staff has been specifically trained in this area. 

Prior to residency, a staff member completes an assessment of your loved one to determine if our Memory Care Unit is appropriate for their needs.

At a reasonable cost of $4,200 per month, a Windemere Park Memory Care resident receives the following services:
